COMMONWEALTH CHURCH

We work to help people CONNECT WITH JESUS, CONTRIBUTE IN HIS CHURCH, and CONTINUE HIS WORK.

Whether you’re checking out Commonwealth for the first time, new to church altogether, or just looking for a church family, we just want to say “Welcome” and “We’re glad you’re here.” Our prayer for you is that you’d find a place that feels like home, that you’d encounter God, and that after being here, you’d be filled with more hope than when you first arrived. We’re a church plant in North County San Diego, and we’re passionate about people experiencing the goodness of God, and seeing them find what Jesus calls “the abundant life.”

GATHERINGS

Sundays 10-11:30PM
2544 Gateway Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92009

We gather together every week to connect with God and each other and to grow in our faith. We are a new church, also known as a “church plant” (think startup). We gather every Sunday to grow in our faith, encounter God, connect with one another, and be equipped to share hope and healing with the world around us. We’re in the process of getting set up in our new building and developing the team that serves in the various gatherings and ministries (there’s a place for you!). Our prayer is that this is a place that will feel like home, where you can encounter Jesus, get connected to His family and discover how God has designed you to make a difference in the world.

FIRST STEPS

We know connecting to a new church can be intimidating, and sometimes you might not know where to start. We respect your courage in trying something new and we’d love to connect with you. Here are some great first steps you can take:

  1. Check out the about page

  2. Shoot us a text or email, with any questions you might have.

  3. Come check out a gathering.

OUR PASTORS

Nick and Keri were married in 2009 in Costa Mesa, CA. Even before they met, they carried a dream in their hearts to plant a church in North County San Diego that would bring new life and increased hope into the area. This passion has only grown with each year as San Diego has captured their hearts. They served together in various ministry roles over the past decade, and are excited to see how God will establish and use Commonwealth to bless the North County area. They are proud parents to two boys (who also consider themselves church planters). They love to see people and places impacted by the goodness of God's presence and to see people discover and step into their God-given purpose.
