Life is measured by what you GIVE not by what you GET.

A great training ground to learn how to serve one another is right in the midst of a local church family. We call our team who carry out the ministries of Commonwealth the Dream Team because they are the people who make the dream of ‘being a life-giving church that impacts our city for good’ come to life. Every week they show up and make Commonwealth more than a building or a service. They are the evidence of God’s love to everyone who walks through our doors, or encounters us on the street. Whatever your personality or strengths are, there is somewhere for you to serve at Commonwealth.

Our mission as a dream team is:

Unlocking greatness in others by giving of ourselves

At Commonwealth, we love the ideas of team and family rather than volunteers. This isn’t some job that we all choose to do, even without pay, but rather it’s an opportunity to build up others, and to be a part of creating a family environment where everyone can flourish. We’d love for you to be considering how you might want to participate in the Dream Team.

On Sundays, Our Dream Team is made up of 5 main areas:

Services: Worship, Sound, Lighting, Video
First Impressions: Ushers, Greeters, Parking, Coffee, Connect Table
Commonwealth Kids: Check in, Nursery, Elementary, Security
Environments: Setup, Tear Down, Stage Decor, Building projects,*
Next Steps: Growth Track, Follow Up, New Believers Connections

*All members of the dream team will help in different ways with set up and tear down, but the Environments team will lead the charge on this.

Dream Team Beyond Sundays:

Streets - organized outreach & evangelism through HOTS (Healing on the Streets) and street evangelism.
Logistics - help with administration, follow up emails/calls, etc.
Small Groups - host/lead a small group in an area of your passion.
Kingdom Builders - Helping to resource Commonwealth by giving beyond a regular tithe/offering & through helping to fundraise for kingdom expansion in our city, state, nation, and world.

The first and best way to get involved with the dream team is to jump in on Growth Track after church. There you will have time and space to learn about the vision and values of Commonwealth, discover your unique gifts and passions, and get connected with a dream team Captain. In the meantime you can also contact us to talk more about how you'd like to be invoved.
